Seasonal change can be hard on a body, especially if one has arthritis or osteoporosis. Arthritis affects the joints while osteoporosis affects the bones, but because joints are composed of the spaces where bones meet, most folks with either condition, or both, may experience tightness, soreness, stiffness, and movement limitations at this time of the year. If this is you, please come explore ways to mitigate the pain and soreness by opening up space in the joints and creating ease in the body.
In this workshop, we'll explore new poses, adapt traditional poses, and explore breathing and relaxation techniques beneficial to joints and bones.
Appropriate for all levels; previous yoga experience not required.
