(Fridays, Apr. 13 - May 18) iRest® is an evidence-based guided meditation practice designed to help one feel grounded, settled, and able to better face the stress of today’s often overly busy lifestyles. iRest has been found effective for helping mitigate stress, trauma, chronic illness or pain, insomnia, and addiction.
Each week we will move deeper into the progressive steps in the iRest protocol through lecture, discussion, use of the iRest participant workbook, and a 30-40 minute guided meditation practice. Additionally, each week’s guided meditation practice will be recorded and made available to participants for their personal practice outside of class.
This mini-session is appropriate for all levels, including those exploring meditation for the first time. No special knowledge is required.
