Yoga recognizes that the human body is complex and that breathing is not just the exchange of oxygen and CO2 but serves to unite the specific inner life forces we each have with the vast external life energies that we all share in common.
In this series of workshops we will explore how yoga teaches us to understand, harness and utilize the energy of the breath and life force together. We will bring attention and understanding to the breath in our postures and use yoga techniques of cultivating the subtle aspects of breath. Bringing attention to our breath, we learn to cultivate this growing awareness of the inner breath, harmonize our physical body, stabilize our breathing, quiet the mind and find we can sustain a more peaceful state of being.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.
