Yoga For Healthy Bones (6-wk Mini-Session) with Bonnie Cassels

(October 3 - November 7, 2017)

This 6 week mini-session is inspired by the groundbreaking and internationally recognized research study conducted by Dr. Loren Fishman in which he proved the efficacy of yoga in actually reversing osteopenia and osteoporosis. You will learn:

  • How to safely build and strengthen your bones no matter what your level of experience or physical limitations
  • Specific key actions to do in yoga poses to maximize bone building & strength in your legs, spine, hips, arms, & wrists
  • How to safely adapt & modify poses making them accessible no matter your level of ability or medical condition
  • Specific key actions to improve posture, balance, co-ordination, & range of motion
  • A 12 minute daily practice that raises bone mineral density & improves bone quality
