Shavasana Workshop with Karla Kettler

Shavasana is considered by many to be the most important posture in all of yoga. Taking time for deep relaxation in shavasana posture after a yoga practice, during a Yoga Nidra, or any time of day can be very beneficial to release tension in the body and mind. In this workshop we will:

  • experiment with different props and alignments to help each student find their most comfortable version of shavasana
  • do a short asana (yoga postures) practice
  • experience a longer shavasana with a guided body scan

A handout and access to an audio recording of the body scan will be provided to each student so that they may practice this deep relaxation at home.
